Rex Wu graduated from MIT with a Master’s degree in aerospace engineering but later changed his career when he found his true passion in financial services 2 decades ago. When Rex was a child, he lost his father due to cancer. His father had little life insurance protection and the family suffered both emotionally and financially. From this tragedy, Rex developed a strong passion for helping families get protected with life insurance. In addition to helping people to protect their most important asset, Rex enjoys creating long-term financial security through various financial solutions for his clients. Rex loves and cares about his clients, company, and teammates immensely and has dedicated over 20 years of his life serving them. In addition to his professional career, Rex serves as the Co-Founder of a non profit organization that has been giving back to the community for years. Rex believes the ultimate happiness can only be achieved by serving others. Rex Wu believes it is his turn to give back to the community by offering those who have the entrepreneurial spirit the right mentorship to succeed in business. Developed real-time signal processing algorithms and simulations in ADA, C and C++ for long-term military intelligence program at customer facility. Specific responsibilities included: Testing and evaluating current algorithm performance using ADA code. Investigating and fixing any anomalies from the system output by improving the current ADA algorithm; designing algorithms to reduce CPU usage and runtime, and producing more reliable results using ADA and C. Developed software tools using C and C++ to assist any research and analysis.

Provide system engineering support to the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization. Designed scenarios for the Hardware in the Loop Test using MATLAB to investigate the anomalies of the ballistic missiles defense systems. Conducted research and analysis on radar track errors for US ballistic missile defense systems and developed recommendations for the interoperability issue. Developed and analyzed technical performance measures from operational requirements and specifications using MATLAB. Created requirement database using Microsoft Access and performed functional analysis and allocation of requirements with a focus on Battle Management Command, Control, and Communication & Intelligence (BMC4I).
Satellite Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin

Monitored and evaluated the subsystems and state of health of the spacecraft. Supported satellite's daily operation by analyzing and verifying software-generated commands. Troubleshooting anomalies and abnormalities of spacecraft software. Generated valid command loads for the spacecraft. Monitored real-time telemetry of spacecraft and assist vehicle controller to ensure normal daily flight operation.
